Although the Thanet Electronic Organ Club was founded in 1981 as a hobbyists’ club, on certainly doesn’t need to be a player to enjoy its benefits. Moving with the times, it later became the Thanet Electronic Organ and Keyboard Club. Thirty odd years on, we still have the pleasure of hearing professional musicians who travel from all parts of the U.K. To give us top grade entertainment at a reasonable cost. These concerts are usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month unless otherwise stated, with a Christmas Party in December Dates for these are on the “Week in Brief” page of this site.
The orchestral sounds of the modern organs and keyboards have to be heard to be believed but many of our visitors are often pleasantly surprised that the “old” theatre organ sounds are still embraced, along with songs from shows and middle of the road popular music from across the decades.
Come along and enjoy the experience - you are very welcome !
Concerts start at 7:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m with a raffle and refreshments.
